Cruise Staff
Cruise
Director-Salary range: $3800-7500 U.S.
per month. The cruise director is responsible
for creating and coordinating all entertainment
and implementing daily activities. As well as
acting as master of ceremonies at social
activities and shows. Professional entertainment
background preferred. Assets would include:
Public speaking, delegating responsibilities and
organizational skills.
Assistant
Cruise Director-Salary range: $2100-2700
U.S. per month. The Assistant Cruise Director is
responsible for coordinating cruise staff
activity schedules, supervising and acting as
master of ceremonies at specific passenger
activities. Also assists in creating daily
programs. Background in entertainment,
recreation, hotel or resort preferred. Assets
would include: Public speaking, delegating,
organizational abilities. Possibilities for
promotion to Cruise Director.
Social
Hostess-Salary range: $1900-2400 U.S. per
month. Responsible for acting as master of
ceremonies at specific events. Experience in
entertainment, recreation, hotel or resort
preferred. Possibilities for promotion to Cruise
Director.
Cruise
Staff-Salary range: $1800-2100 U.S. per
month. Responsible for organizing passenger
activities-golf, quizzes, bingo etc. Experience
preferred but not required. Possibilities for
promotion to Assistant Cruise Director.
Disc
Jockey-Salary range: $1700-2000 U.S. per
month. This candidate should have a diverse
music foundation to reflect generations of
passengers. Experience in a hotel, resort or
night club is preferred.
Youth
Activities Coordinators-Salary range:
$1800-2100 U.S. per month. Responsible for
organizing children's activities. Experience
with children preferred.
Diving
Instructor-Salary range: $1700-2100 U.S.
per month. Responsible for conducting diving and
snorkeling programs. Diving instructor's
certificate and CPR/First Aid certificate
required.
Golf
Instructor-Salary range: $1600-3800 U.S.
per month. Responsible for teaching at different
levels. This candidate should have patience,
motivation and social skills.
